What SECND set up for you

After you connect a marketplace, SECND reads your account and picks sensible defaults so you can start listing immediately. The dashboard shows you everything it chose.

TL;DR

SECND reads your marketplace account on connect and writes sensible defaults to your settings — shipping profile, return policy, currency, default location, listing status. The dashboard shows you the receipt so you can spot anything you want to change. Everything on the receipt is editable.

What the receipt shows

When you connect a marketplace during onboarding (or any time after), SECND queries that marketplace's API for your shop's existing setup — the shipping profile you already use, the return policy you already published, the location you already operate from — and persists those values as the defaults SECND will use when it pushes listings.

The first time you open your dashboard after connecting, a Here's what we set up for you card appears at the top. It lists every value that was inferred, grouped by marketplace, so you can confirm everything looks right before listings start flowing. Each row has an Edit link that takes you to the right integration settings page.

Dismiss the card by clicking the X or Got it. It won't come back on this browser unless you clear site data. You can still review what was inferred any time on the integrations page.

What gets set up per marketplace

Etsy

Currency, default shipping profile (with processing time), default return policy, listing status (Draft so you can review before going live), and auto-renew preference.

eBay

Selling region (US / Canada / UK / etc.), your default payment, return, and fulfillment policies, and your listing format (Fixed Price, accepts offers).

Shopify

Listing status (Draft), what happens when an item sells out (inventory goes to zero — keeps the product page live for SEO), vendor field source, primary inventory location, and which sales channels to publish to.

Square

Default location, currency, inventory tracking, low-stock alerts, and what happens when an item sells out.

Grailed

Default return address, accept-offers preference, smart pricing preference, and handling fees.

Lightspeed X-Series

Default outlet, default register, currency, inventory sync direction, and sales sync direction.

Editing or overriding defaults

The receipt is a read-only summary. To change any value, click Edit on the row (or Open integration at the top of the marketplace section). That takes you to the integration settings panel where you can change the value and save it.

Changes you make there override the inferred default for every future listing. Listings already pushed are not retroactively updated — only new listings use the new value.
