Set Up Your Public Storefront

Turn on a public, search-friendly storefront that shows your active listings with Buy links to every marketplace.

Last updated 2026-06-04

TL;DR

Open Profile, then turn on the Public storefront toggle. Your storefront lives at secnd.ca/store/your-slugand shows every active product that has at least one live marketplace listing, each with a “Buy on” link. A store URL (slug) is required — set one in Store Settings first.

Before you start

Your storefront needs a clean public URL, which comes from your store slug. If you haven't set one yet, open Store Settings and choose a slug (for example, vintage-threads). Until a slug exists, the storefront toggle stays disabled.

You should also have at least one marketplace connected and a few products listed — the storefront only shows products that are active and have a live marketplace listing.

Step-by-step

1

Set a store URL (if you haven't)

Open Store Settings and pick a slug under the store URL card. This becomes secnd.ca/store/your-slug.
2

Open Profile

Go to Profile. Find the Public storefront card.
3

Turn it on

Flip the Public storefront toggle. Your storefront becomes public and indexable by search engines immediately.
4

Copy and share your link

Use Copy to grab your storefront URL, or View storefront to preview it. Share it on social, in your bio, or anywhere you want buyers to find your listings.

What products appear

The storefront shows a product only when it is active and has at least one live marketplace listing with a link. Drafts, sold items, deactivated items, and products that aren't listed anywhere are hidden automatically. As you list and sell, the storefront updates — there's nothing extra to publish.

Note

Buyers can search your full catalog right on the storefront. Search runs across everything that qualifies, not just the items on the first page.

Visibility and SEO

When the storefront is on, the page is server-rendered, carries your store name and description in its metadata, and is marked for search engines to index — so it can show up in Google. When it's off, the page still loads and the “get notified” signup keeps working, but the product grid is hidden and the page is set to noindex.
