Importing Your Inventory

How to pull listings from your connected marketplaces into SECND, and what to do if something looks off.

Last updated 2026-05-24

TL;DR

Open Products → Import listings, filter by marketplace, select what you want, and click Import items. SECND pulls those listings, mirrors them in your Products list, and marks them as imported on the source marketplace.

How import works

Import is manual. After you connect a marketplace, its listings appear on the Import listings page — you decide which ones to pull into SECND. That avoids accidentally importing inactive or test listings and lets you stage a big shop in batches.

Once imported, a listing lives in your Products list and you can edit it, cross-list it, or attach it to automations.

Step-by-step

1

Connect a marketplace

Click Connectin the sidebar and connect the marketplace you want to import from. See the integration docs for each platform's flow.
2

Open the Import listings page

In the sidebar, click Products, then click Import listings (or go directly to /products/import).
3

Filter by marketplace

Toggle the marketplace(s) you want to import from. You can also filter by status, imported state, inventory, date, and sort order.
4

Select listings

Tick the listings you want, or use Select all to grab every listing on the current page. The action bar at the bottom shows your selection count.
5

Click Import items

In the bottom action bar, click Import items. A dialog asks about marketplace priority (for listings that exist on multiple marketplaces) and whether to use AI assist. Confirm to start the import.
6

Track progress

A toast appears in the corner with the import progress. You can close the tab — the import runs on SECND's servers.

What gets imported

Titles, descriptions, prices, inventory quantities, images, and the listing's status on the source marketplace. Exact fields vary by marketplace — eBay listings carry item-specifics, Etsy listings carry shipping profile references, and so on. SECND keeps the listing linked back to its source so future edits update both sides.

Note

A listing already imported from one marketplace shows an Importedbadge so you know not to double-import it. If you re-select it, SECND treats it as a re-sync rather than a duplicate.
