TL;DR

Open Automations in the sidebar, pick a template (Post new items / Relist stale / Drip to a new shop / Import existing), spend about a minute setting it up, and turn it on. SECND runs it in the background from then on.

What is an automation?

An automation is a recurring task SECND runs for you — auto-listing items that are ready to go, refreshing stale listings, dripping listings into a newly connected shop, or auto-importing new items from a connected marketplace. You pick a template, configure which marketplaces and cadence, and SECND handles the rest.

The four templates

Auto-list ready items— publishes products marked as ready, a few each day so you don't flood the marketplace.

Relist stale listings— refreshes listings that have been live a while so they re-surface in marketplace search results.

Drip existing listings to a new shop— finds items live on one of your existing shops and copies them to a newly connected shop a few at a time.

Import existing listings— pulls active listings from a connected shop into SECND on a schedule so new items show up automatically.

Step-by-step

1

Open Automations

Click Automations in the sidebar. The page is titled Automations.
2

Pick a template

On an empty workspace, you'll see four big tiles — one per template. Click the one closest to what you want and SECND takes you to a one-screen setup.
3

Configure

Each template asks a few things: which marketplaces, how many items per run, and a cadence (e.g. once a day at 9 AM). SECND fills in sensible defaults so you can skim and confirm.
4

Save and turn it on

Click save. Back on the Automations page, the automation appears as a card with a toggle. Turn the toggle on to let it run.
5

Watch the next run

Each card shows when SECND will run it next. Click Run now to trigger it on demand for a one-off pass.
